Accounts Receivable Associate

Inova Partners, LLC (“Inova”), a Veterinary Practice Management Company, has an immediate opening for a full-time (30+ hours per week) skilled Accounts Receivable Associate. Candidates with Bilingual skills are strongly encouraged to apply! This position will be responsible for managing assigned accounts, ensuring outstanding balances are paid in a timely manner.

 

Based in Weatherford, Texas, Inova provides business management solutions to busy equine and small animal veterinary practices.  Inova offers professional, friendly, and supportive work atmosphere where you can learn and develop your skills in a fun, fast-paced work atmosphere.   Our services include consulting, bookkeeping, billing, managerial accounting, human resources management, accounts payable, marketing, and information systems.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • conducting a high volume of collections calls and correspondence regarding past due accounts

  • collecting payments from customers, notate accounts and accurately record them in our practice management software

  • monitoring assigned accounts

  • researching client discrepancies and past-due amounts

  • assisting in monthly billing statement generation

  • creating reports regarding the current status of client accounts as requested

  • performing other related duties as assigned

 

The ideal candidate:

  • has proven working experience in key collection techniques:

    • effectively conduct calls with excellent verbal and active listening skills

    • collect payments

    • resolve client billing issues

  • exemplifies passionate customer service and negotiation skills

  • presents a friendly attitude towards clients and staff

  • has a strong attention to detail, even if interruptions occur

  • can work under pressure while prioritizing tasks

  • keeps accurate and thorough records

  • can work independently or with a team

  • has strong organizational skills  

  • demonstrates dependability and flexibility

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • one year collection experience

  • excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • ability to operate related office equipment such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier

  • able to stand, walk, stop, kneel as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 30 pounds.

  • high school degree or equivalent

  • ability to work late as needed to complete special projects

  • bilingual is a definite plus.
